Castejón de Sos is probably the best flying site of the Spanish Pyrenees, an internationally recognised place due to the numerous important competitions held there, including World Cup events, national championships or territorial leagues.

It is located in the heart of Aragonese Pyrenees, in the Benasque valley, at 124 kilometres from Huesca and surrounded by high mountains.

Thanks to its orientation and special characteristics, it is possible to fly almost every day of the year

Castejon de Sos has 10 official takeoffs with multiple orientations, being two of them the most importants: Rials, the nearest one, with less altitude but always available; and the most famous one, the Liri takeoff, in 23oo metres height and available between May and November.

Some paragliding schools are located in this zone, apart from the fact that several alternative activities can be developed in this wonderful valley. This is what makes Castejón de Sos an exceptional place to visit.

As we can see in the picture below, the XC fligths registered by the main cross-flight websites in Castejón de Sos form a great tangle.
