What is your greatest sporting success?

When and why did you start paragliding?
I started paragliding in 2009. My father is a former helicopter pilot and he taught me to love the sky.

What is your mountaineering experience?
Only mountain tourism.

What does your typical training week consist of?
I do crossfit and swim in the pool. Every two months I travel to the Himalayas or Europe, where I train in the mountains. I go to the mountains and fly a paraglider.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
Athletes, as you know, do not like to lose. The goal of any competition is at least a pair of national competition pedestals. However, for me, playing sports is a self-realization, a test. I don't think about failures. It is much more important to remember what I learned by participating in competitions.

Why did you choose X-Pyr?
I was an assistant to a Russian athlete at the Red Bull X-Alps 2019 race and I want to try my hand at such a race. So I decided to start with X-Pyr.

Have you participated on X-Pyr before?
This is my first time.

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before?

What will your strategy be during the race?
More time to stay in the air.

What excites you most about X-Pyr?
This is my first experience in the race. I don't really like competing with other athletes. I like to pass tests in life and this race is a great opportunity.

What scares you the most about the event?
The Pyrenees is a new place I've never been before. I need to study these mountains and prepare well.

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
We flew a lot together. We studied with the same instructor. He helped us at the 2019 Red Bull X-Alps race and knows what to do. He's also a great pilot.

Anything else you like to comment?
I look forward to meeting the participants of the race. Many of them are my friends and we often met in the Himalayas.
