What is your greatest sporting success?
MTB Downhill StateChampion, 1st place rookie borderrace, 3rd place Achensee Extreme, 3rd place climb & glide Erzberg, solo crossing H&F Northern Alps.

When and why did you start paragliding?
I started paragliding in 2015. I was at Dachstein in 2013 for another competition and met an XAlps athlete, since then I have been fascinated and dream of this competition.

What is your mountaineering experience?
I climbed the highest mountains in Austria on skis or by climbing. In 2019 I was in the Monterosa area and climbed some 4000m peaks and glided.

What does your typical training week consist of?
I go paragliding in combination with mountain tours as often as possible. Try to use every free minute to be in the mountains and pursue my passion.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
My most beautiful moments and the best experience were definitely the 33 hours of hike & fly competitions and the Solo Alps. The worst experience was when in a H&F mountain tour a colleague crashed in front of me.

Why did you choose X-Pyr?
Since I was flying my goal was to take part in the largest H&F competitions to learn from the best pilots and to measure myself. And the Pyrenees are definitely one of the most beautiful areas that I know and paragliding is a great adventure.

Have you participated on X-Pyr before?

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before?

What will your strategy be during the race?
At the beginning you don't lose the connection to the leading ones and then strategically optimize the routes depending on the course in order to get the maximum out of the finish line.

What excites you most about X-Pyr?
On the one hand the competition in these mountains and on the other hand to compete with the top pilots in the world.

What scares you the most about the event?
I'm not afraid, just respect the expected flying conditions. I carefully selected my team and will start with a good feeling.

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
The supporter must know how I think and must always think one step further in order to quickly plan alternative routes.

Anything else you like to comment?
I'm looking forward to a great adventure with like-minded people. And I will give everything to achieve the goal healthy and happy.
