What is your greatest sporting success?
A couple of mountain marathons, Hike and Fly Mont Blanc, Tip to Tail project across NZ and a few first descents kayaking.

When and why did you start paragliding?
I learnt in NZ Queenstown in 2008, When I seen people doing acro for the first time and what was possible I was hooked.

What is your mountaineering experience?
A few 4000m peaks and a fair bit of Volbiv

What does your typical training week consist of?
Hike and fly, ski tour, running and a bit of gym work.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
Best = The journey to Infinity tumbling, thermalling with Birds of Pray, flying with friends, low save’s. All flight with a safe landing and a smile on my face.
Worst =I’m Sure theirs some but try not to focus on them.

Why did you choose X-Pyr?
I think It’s a great Idea to Hike and Fly through some beautiful landscape and go coast to coast. Why wouldn’t you

Have you participated on X-Pyr before?

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before?
Not so much, just a bit of Acro training in Organya

What will your strategy be during the race?
Fly as much as Possible, walk as little, keep moving forwards.

What excites you most about X-Pyr?
Long beautiful flights, flying in new places and getting to goal..

What scares you the most about the event?
To push my limit too much and to make the wrong decisions during stressful situations..

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Tom did the X-alps in 2009 and was supporter for in 2011 for Jon Chambers. So he already has a lot of knowledge about the game.

Anything else you like to comment?
