What is your mountaineering experience?
Cross country skiing across the Mont Blanc massiff, I have top landed on top of Mont Blanc

What does your typical training week consist of?
5 days training, 2 days resting... Running every other day, about 35Km/week. Ski and snowboard, rock climbing, cross country skiing up to 800m.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
My best memories come from the times with the Sat team, travelling around the world, the adrenaline when you invented new manoeuvres, and also the XC flights from my last years in competition which gave me 3 World Cups and 2 Spanish Championships

Why did you choose X-Pyr?
I have spent 15 years of my life doing acro, winning many competitions; and these last 6 years doing XC comps , and I have been very successful...
Now I am interested in taking part in hike&fly competitions because it is a very tantalizing and attractive format. I am highly motivated to take part in the X-Pyr, the most difficult, most demanding event, both physically and mentally , that we have in Spain.

Have you participated on X-Pyr before?
No, it is my first time

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before?
Yes, I know very well the western side of the Pyrenees, from Jaca to beyond Berga.

What will your strategy be during the race?

What excites you most about X-Pyr?
The true spirit of the hike&fly competition attracts me, I love it.
To discover the Pyrenees in an unforgettable way.
To prove myself I am able to do this kind of competition.

What scares you the most about the event?
Above all, bad weather...then injuring myself, and finally....not to reach the finish line.

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Because of trust. We live in Chamonix and have known each other for a long time. He is a paraglider pilot too, and he was thrilled by the idea of living this adventure with me, of discovering the Pyrenees.

Anything else you like to comment?
For me the most important aspect is safety, both my own and my assistant's, then enjoying every day in the competition, and last but not least, making it to the finish line.
