What is your greatest sporting success?
Hoping its the X Pyr! But really Ive always been good at lots of things and great at none so I have many good placements and none at the top, but all bring good memories and learning.

When and why did you start paragliding?
Verbier, 2010. My Dad started paragliding 2 years before me and asked if I wanted to learn. The answer was YES!

What is your mountaineering experience?
Ski tour, mountain run, and ice climb in various places around the US, Canada, and Europe.

What does your typical training week consist of?
As many meters as possible with 2 days or so for strength training in the gym. In the summer its hike and fly or trail run. Winter is ski touring and hike and fly when possible. The gym work consists of functional movements including squats, dead-lifts, lunges, pullups etc.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
Best: Tied between a great flight from my home site that ended at a brewery 90km later and getting 3rd place in the 24 hour Worlds Toughest Mudder Team. Worst: Not worth my time to dwell on.

Why did you choose X-Pyr?
Adventure, good times with friends, and a serious challenge.

Have you participated on X-Pyr before?

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before?

What will your strategy be during the race?
Fly far, stay in the air, and when needed run fast.

What excites you most about X-Pyr?
Having a great adventure with friends in a new place.

What scares you the most about the event?

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Great pilot, very fit, 2x X Alps competitor, amazing friend, and willing to feed me cat food.
