Day-2: Looong flights and huge gaps
Windy morning but great looong flights (190km) and a huge gap between the standings of the race head and most of the other teams. Maurer, Durogati and Mayer where first on the air and flew together about half the way. In the afternoon the group broke and each went their way. Maurer finished 1st with 20km advantage over his followers. Only 5 more pilots, Arevalo, Williams, Keller, Zlatko Koren and Juraj Koren managed to take off at TP2 (Ohri) although their gap with the leading 3 is significant. Arevalo was the only one of them who managed to pass TP3 and build a significant gap with the rest. All teams had mostly a looong hooot hiking day as they continue their foot approach to TP2 Ohri.
2 teams abandoned today: Ivan Colas/Carlos Apesteguia, David Liaño/Alejandro Gonzalez.
Tomorrow's forecast is good for those who already past TP2, but those teams behind may see strong winds.
